Abstract
Un montaje de puerta y reposabrazos de un vehículo a motor que usa una placa delgada que es verticalmente fuerte a la vez que plegable lateralmente. La placa está formada por una matriz de barras paralelas que se cruzan formando celdas de cuatro lados que tienen un primer conjunto de ángulos agudos opuestos y un segundo conjunto de ángulos obtusos opuestos. Los ángulos obtusos abarcan una dirección normal a la puerta del vehículo a motor y permiten que la placa limite más fácilmente la transmisión de fuerza producida por una fuerza de impacto lateral. Las barras se acoplan a un armazón, las barras de acoplamiento son de área transversal variable para determinar además la rigidez lateral de la placa.
