Abstract

Se describe una deposición de rocío ultrasónico (USD) utilizada para depositar una capa de base en el substrato, seguido de infiltración de vapor químico (CVI) para introducir una fase de enlace que crea un recubrimiento de compuesto con buena adherencia del enlazador a las partículas de fase inicial y adherencia del recubrimiento de compuesto al substrato. Se ha utilizado este proceso para crear recubrimientos que consisten en nitruro de boro cúbico (cBN), depositado utilizando USD, y nitruro de titanio (TiN) aplicado utilizando CVI en diversas modalidades.
