Un método para cortar artículos manufacturados (M) comprende las etapas de desplazar un artículo manufacturado (M) en una dirección de avance (A) a una velocidad predeterminada; predisponer un dispositivo de corte (3) relacionado con el artículo manufacturado (M) y móvil a lo largo de la dirección de avance (A); desplazar el dispositivo de corte (3); sincronizar la velocidad de avance del dispositivo de corte (3) con la velocidad de avance del artículo manufacturado (M); activar el dispositivo de corte (3); retraer el dispositivo de corte (3); las etapas de sincronizar y activar el dispositivo de corte (3) están comprendidas entre la etapa de avance y una etapa de retracción correspondiente para definir un ciclo de corte del artículo manufacturado (M); el ciclo de corte comprende además las etapas de volver a sincronizar la velocidad de avance del dispositivo de corte (3) con la velocidad de avance del artículo manufacturado (M).
