Abstract
Los antioxidantes tiobis fenólicos son mezclados por fusión o en seco de manera eficiente con un polietileno reticulable, resistente a árbol, al formar primero una mezcla, de preferencia una mezcla seca, del antioxidante con un polialquilenglicol (PAG), y entonces mezclar la mezcla con el polietileno. La incorporación de mezcla de antioxidante tiobis fenólico y PAG en polietileno proporciona el PE con tiempo de inducción oxidante (OIT) alto, el cual es una medida de la estabilidad oxidante del PE.
