Abstract

El separador que emplea corrientes de Foucault, comprende: una banda sin fin (2) provista con el fin de transportar la mezcla tan lejos como a una sección de clasificación (22), tambores giratorios (3, 4) alrededor de los cuales opera la banda sin fin (2); y un rotor magnético multipolar (7) impulsado en rotación con el fin de generar un campo magnético alterno inductivo. La sección de clasificación (22) se desplaza en relación con cada tambor giratorio (3, 4) a lo largo de la ruta de la banda sin fin (2). El rotor magnético (7) se coloca externamente a cada tambor giratorio (3, 4). La ruta de la banda sin fin (2) comprende una zona de descarga (4) que sigue la sección de clasificación (22).
