Abstract

L'invention a trait à un séparateur magnétique de particules et/ou morceaux comprenant une première roue magnétique (22) disposée sous une paroi (13) faisant office de surface de glissement pour une première courroie (2) du type courroie transporteuse, ladite paroi (13) décrivant un profil en quart de cercle. Une seconde roue magnétique (33) est disposée en regard de la surface extérieure de la paroi (13). Une seconde courroie fermée (28) entoure la seconde roue magnétique (33) ainsi qu'une roue de guidage (30) de sorte à former une surface de guidage dirigée et se déplaçant vers l'avant. La seconde roue magnétique (33) est entrainée par la première roue magnétique (22) par couplage magnétique sans aucune liaison mécanique. Un frein magnétique (24) est disposé à proximité de la première roue magnétique. Il consiste en un élément mobile (26) comportant plusieurs aimants permanents répartis sur un arc de cercle correspondant à la circonférence de la première roue magnétique et dont les champs magnétiques sont dirigés vers la circonférence de la roue, ces champs magnétiques étant successivement opposés.
