Abstract

Se revela un proceso de microencapsulación, que es mejorado mediante la adición de un agente estabilizante que contiene uno o más materiales de óxido organo-metálico catalítico, tales como jabones de metal. Este funciona como un agente de reticulación, al provocar que los enlaces insaturados en las paredes de la microcápsula reaccionen, estabilizando mediante esto las microcápsulas contra los efectos de aditivos a los recubrimientos que de otra manera degradan la funcionalidad de los materiales termocrómicos o fotocrómicos en el núcleo de la microcápsula.
