Abstract
Un sistema para captura de imágenes para diagnóstico ultrasónicas escanea una región volumétrica de un cuerpo. Un médico define una región tridimensional de interés dentro de la región volumétrica. La región tridimensional de interés se ve desde diferentes direcciones de visualización para dar al médico una percepción de la estructura, composición, y orientación de la región de interés. La región tridimensional de interés puede verse desde direcciones de visualización en 180° en oposición entre sí, ortogonal o a un ángulo intermedio. La manipulación de una vista de la región tridimensional de interés causa que ambas vistas cambien, como si el médico estuviera manipulando ambas vistas simultáneamente en la misma forma.
