Abstract
SISTEMA DE AQUISIÇÃO DE IMAGEM DE DIAGNÓSTICO ULTRASSÔNICO. Um sistema de aquisição de imagem de diagnóstico ultrassônico digitaliza uma região volumétrica de um corpo. Um médico define uma região tridimensional de interesse dentro da região volumétrica. A região tridimensional de interesse é vista de diferentes direções de visualização para dar ao médico uma ideia da estrutura, composição, e orientação da região de interesse. A região de interesse tridimensional pode ser vista de direções de visualização em oposição de 180º uma à outra, ortogonais, ou em um ângulo intermediário. A manipulação de uma vista da região de interesse tridimensional faz com que ambas as vistas mudem, como se o médico estivesse manipulando ambas as vistas simultaneamente da mesma maneira.
