Abstract
Se describe un método para separar el aire en donde una corriente de aire sobrecalentada se introduce en una zona de contacto de transferencia de masa asociada a una columna de baja presión de una unidad de separación de aire. El líquido rico en criptón y xenón se separa dentro de una columna de separación para producir un líquido de productos de fondo rico en criptón y xenón. Una corriente rica en criptón y xenón integrada por el líquido de productos de fondo rico en criptón y xenón de la columna de separación se produce para propósitos de refinamiento adicional.
