Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un método para separar y recuperar secuencialmente uno o más NGLs (129, 229) de una corriente de alimentación de gas natural (3). Específicamente, una corriente de alimentación de gas natural bruto (3) se pasa a través de dos o más unidades de separación de NGLs (100, 200), en donde cada unidad de separación remueve uno o más NGLs de la corriente de alimentación de gas natural para proporcionar un suministro de gas natural rico en metano (205). Cada unidad de separación emplea un medio de adsorción y tiene una etapa de adsorción y una etapa de regeneración del medio, en donde la etapa de regeneración puede operarse como un proceso por lotes, un proceso semi-continuo o un proceso continuo. Una modalidad del método proporciona el uso de un medio adsorbente regenerable diferente en cada unidad de separación.
