Abstract
La presente invención es una película de polietileno y método para hacer la misma. La película de polietileno de acuerdo con la presente invención incluye al menos un copolímero de etileno/a-olefina heterogéneamente ramificado, que tiene una densidad en el rango de aproximadamente 0.910 hasta aproximadamente 0.930 g/cm3, una distribución de peso molecular en el rango de aproximadamente 2.8 hasta 3.8, un índice de fusión (I2) en el rango de aproximadamente 0.3 hasta aproximadamente 4 g/10 min, y una proporción I10/I2 en el rango de 6.5 hasta aproximadamente 7.8. La película tiene una fuerza de impacto de dardo normalizada igual a o mayor que (6666-7012* densidad) g/mil, una fuerza de desgarre normalizada igual a o mayor que (440*e -(densidad-0.915)2 / 2*(0.00949)2) g/mil, y una nebulosidad en el rango de 3 hasta 10 por ciento. El método para hacer la película de polietileno de acuerdo con la presente invención incluye los siguientes pasos: (1) proporcionar al menos un copolímero de etilenolaolefina heterogéneamente ramificado teniendo una densidad en el rango de aproximadamente 0.910 hasta aproximadamente 0.930 g/cm3, una distribución de peso molecular en el rango de aproximadamente 2.8 hasta 3.8, un índice de fusión (I2) en el rango de aproximadamente 0.3 hasta aproximadamente 4 g/10 min, y una proporción I10/I2 en el rango de 6.5 hasta aproximadamente 7.8; (2) procesar el copolímero de etileno/a-olefina heterogéneamente ramificado vía proceso de extrusión de película o proceso de extrusión de película vaciada; y (3) formar por ello una película teniendo una fuerza de impacto de dardo normalizada igual a o mayor que (6666-7012*densidad) g/mil, una fuerza de desgarre normalizada igual a o mayor que (440*e -(densidad-0.915)2/2*(0.00949)2) g/mil, y una nebulosidad en el rango de 3 hasta 10 por ciento.
