Abstract
Se proporciona un método para elaborar una dispersión acuosa en donde dicha dispersión comprende (A) uno o más espesantes y (B) partículas sólidas de 1,2-benzisotiazolin-3-ona, en donde dicho método comprende las etapas de (a) formar una mezcla acuosa (I) que comprende agua, una sal disuelta de 1,2-benzisotiazolin-3-ona y, opcionalmente uno o más espesantes, en donde el pH de dicha mezcla acuosa (I) es 8.5 o mayor y (b) posteriormente formar dicha dispersión acuosa al mezclar juntos, en cualquier orden los componentes, en donde dichos componentes comprenden un ácido, dicha mezcla acuosa (1) y opcionalmente, uno o más espesantes, en donde el pH de dicha dispersión es de 1.5 a 7.5. También se proporciona una dispersión acuosa elaborada por ese método.
