Abstract

La invención se refiere a polímeros que se pueden obtener por polimerización de los monómeros (A), (B) y (D), y opcionalmente (C), en donde (A) es un monómero de la fórmula (I): (Ver Fórmula) en donde A representa alquileno de C2 a C4 B representa un alquileno de C2 a C4 diferente de A; R representa hidrógeno o metilo; m representa un número de 1 a 500; n representa un número de 1 a 500; (B) es un monómero etilénicamente insaturado que contiene por lo menos una función de ácido carboxílico; (C) es opcionalmente un monómero adicional etilénicamente insaturado diferente de (A) y (B); (D) es un monómero de la fórmula (II): (Ver Fórmula) en donde D representa alquileno de C2 a C4 E representa un grupo alquileno de C2 a C4 diferente de D; F representa un grupo alquileno de C2 a C4 diferente de E; R representa hidrógeno o metilo; o representa un número de 1 a 500; p representa un número de 1 a 500; q representa un número de 1 a 500; y en donde la fracción en peso de los monómeros es de 35% a 99% para el macromonómero (A), de 0.5% a 45% para el monómero (B), de 0% a 20% para el monómero (C), y de 1% a 20% para el monómero (D); y al uso de dichos polímeros como antiespumantes para suspensiones de sólidos inorgánicos.
