Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método mejorado para preparar una composición apropiada para fabricar discos fonográficos de calidad superior, expresándose todas las proporciones de los ingredientes en porcentaje en peso del producto final, consistiendo el método esencialmente de: mezclar en un mezclador, de aproximadamente 60 a 70 por ciento de una suspensión o solución de resina de un copolímero de cloruro de vinilo y acetato de vinilo que contiene de 12 a 16 por ciento de acetato de vinilo, de aproximadamente 26.2 a 36.2 por ciento de un homopolímero de cloruro de vinilo de tipo de suspensión o solución, que tiene una viscocidad inherente de aproximadamente 0.65, y 0.2 por ciento de negro de carbón que tiene una finura de 181 unidades Angstrom, y elevar la temperatura de la composición hasta aproximadamente 46 a 49°C; añadir 1.2 por ciento de una solución al 50 por ciento de metosulfato de N,N-bis(2,hidroxietil)-N-(3'-dodeciloxi-2'-hidroxietil) metilamonio y elevar la temperatura de la composición hasta aproximadamente 52 a 54°C; añadir a la mezcla aproximadamente 1.6 por ciento de un compuesto estabilizador de organoestaño exento de azufre, que contiene aproximadamente 16 por ciento en peso de estaño y aproximadamente 1 por ciento de un epóxido de aceite de frijol de soya, que tiene un peso molecular de aproximadamente 1000 y elevar las temperatura de la composición hasta aproximadamente 57 a 60°C; añadir a la mezcla aproximadamente 0.4 por ciento de una cera de montana esterificada y elevar la temperatura de la composicón hasta aproximadamente 60 a 68°C y remover la unidad y las otras substancias volátiles de la mezcla; enfriar rápidamente la composición hasta una temperatura de aproximadamente 38°C, mezclar la mezcla seca de ingredientes, fría, de manera que se fundan homogéneamente, para formar una masa fundida y enfriar la masa fundida.
