Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método mejorado para producir fosfatos libres de fluoruro a partir de rocas de fosfato, la mejora está caracterizada por las etapas de: reaccionar roca de fosfato con una solución de ácido fosfórico que contiene valores de iones de potasio, como KH2PO4, en un reactor de acidulación usando suficiente ácido fosfórico, para solubilizar por completo los fosfatos de calcio presentes y suficiente KH2PO4 para ocasionar que los fluoruros presentes en la roca de fosfato se precipiten esencialmente en un fluorsilicato de potasio sólido, conduciéndose la reacción de acidulación a una temperatura entre la ambiente y 150°C con un tiempo de resistencia de 0.5 a tres horas, formar una lechada del sólido en una solución de fosfato monocalcico y ácido fosfórico, separar el fluorsilicato de potasio sólido y recuperar una solución de fostato de calcio en ácido fosfórico.
