Abstract
Se proporcionan métodos para ajustar un troquel de ranura. El troquel de ranura incluye una ranura de aplicador que se extiende a lo largo del ancho del troquel de ranura, en donde la ranura de aplicador está en comunicación fluida con un trayecto de flujo de fluido a través del troquel de ranura, al menos uno de un grupo que consiste en: una barra de fijación y un reborde de troquel flexible, y una pluralidad de accionadores separados a lo largo del ancho del troquel de ranura, cada accionador acoplado operativamente a la barra de fijación o reborde de troquel flexible para ajustar un perfil de altura de una ranura o barra de fijación en su ubicación respectiva para proporcionar un ajuste local del flujo de fluido a través de la ranura de aplicador. El método incluye: medir los valores de espesor de un extrudido proporcionado desde la ranura de aplicador; mapear los valores de espesor medidos a una posición correspondiente a lo largo del ancho del troquel de ranura; ejecutar una compresión de datos de los valores de espesor medidos para obtener un vector residual que representa la desviación de los valores de espesor medidos de los valores de espesor deseados; y ajustar una posición de uno o más de la pluralidad de accionadores basada en el vector residual para obtener una forma corregida para la barra de fijación o el reborde de troquel flexible. El ajuste incluye usar el vector residual para predecir un grado de irregularidad para un conjunto propuesto de posiciones de accionador y después aplicar una restricción de irregularidad para obtener un conjunto revisado de posiciones de accionador que reduce el grado de irregularidad en relación con el grado de irregularidad previsto.
