Abstract

Está invención proporciona un anticuerpo tetrahédrico que comprende un primer, segundo, tercer y cuarto dominios, en donde: a) cada uno del primer y segundo dominios se seleccionan del grupo que consiste en un dominio Fab y un dominio Fc, b) cada uno del primer y segundo dominios comprende: i) una primera cadena de polipéptido que comprende una primera N-terminal del dominio, y ii) una segunda cadena de polipéptidos que comprende una segunda N-terminal del dominio, c) la primera N-terminal del primer dominio y la primera N-terminal del segundo dominio se unen entre sí por una ligación no de peptidilo en donde ligación no de peptidilo es: i) una ligación covalente, o ii) una ligación no covalente entre (1) un primer polipéptido de polimerización unido por una unión de péptido o a través de un ligador de péptido a la primera N-terminal del primer dominio, y (2) un segundo polipéptido de dimerización unido por una unión de péptido o a través de un ligador de péptido a la primera N-terminal del segundo dominio, en donde el primer y segundo polipéptidos de dimerización no son polipéptidos de inmunoglobulina, d) el tercer dominio se une en su C-terminal por una unión de péptido o a través de un ligador de péptido a: i) la segunda N-terminal del primer dominio, o ii) la N-terminal del primer polipéptido de dimerización, y e) el cuarto dominio se une en su C-terminal por una unión de péptido o a través de un ligador de péptido a: i) la segunda N-terminal del segundo dominio, o ii) la N-terminal del segundo polipéptido de dimerización.
