Abstract
La presente divulgación proporciona composiciones para estimular el crecimiento de las bifidobacterias intestinales, manteniendo/mejorando así la salud intestinal. De particular interés son las composiciones que comprenden células de Lactobacillus fermentum, incluyendo el producto LACTEOL(r). Ejemplos de afecciones específicas que pueden tratarse con las composiciones incluyen diarrea asociada a antibióticos, disbiosis, síndrome del intestino irritable (SII) y enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal (EII).
