Abstract
Un método para elaborar una placa de yeso que incluye: combinar una primera pluralidad de partículas que incluyen al menos aproximadamente 50 % en peso de sulfato de calcio dihidratado y de aproximadamente 0.05 % en peso a aproximadamente 10 % en peso de material hidrófobo y que tienen un tamaño de partícula D50 de aproximadamente 200 µm a aproximadamente 800 µm con una segunda pluralidad de partículas que incluyen sulfato de calcio hemihidratado para formar una mezcla combinada de sulfato de calcio; añadirle agua a la mezcla combinada de sulfato de calcio para elaborar una lechada de yeso acuosa; depositar una capa de núcleo que incluye la lechada de yeso acuosa sobre una superficie de moldeo; y permitir que la capa de núcleo fragüe, formando así un núcleo de yeso fraguado.
