Abstract
La invención se refiere a un aparato y un método de calentamiento por microondas de artículos giratorios, en donde el aparato comprende al menos una fuente de radiación de microondas (12), al menos una guía de ondas (11) y una cámara de calentamiento (5) para recibir un artículo giratorio que comprende un material que absorbe la radiación de microondas. Cada fuente de radiación de microondas (12) se conecta a la cámara de calentamiento (5) a través de al menos una guía de ondas (11) que tiene al menos una entrada en la pared lateral de la cámara de calentamiento (5). Al menos una cubierta (6) se instala en la cámara de calentamiento (5) y/o al menos una cubierta (6) es deslizable verticalmente con respecto a la pared lateral de la cámara de calentamiento (5) en combinación con al menos una cubierta (6) que comprende un anillo fijo (13) en la circunferencia exterior de dicha área y al menos una porción extendible (14) en la circunferencia interior de dicha área.
