Abstract
Un proceso y sistema de flujo continuo para la despolimerización de plástico. Una mezcla heterogénea de partículas de plástico, un solvente y un catalizador se bombea continuamente a través de una zona de calentamiento a una tasa de flujo lo suficientemente alta como para mantener una velocidad de partícula lo suficientemente grande como para mantener las partículas de plástico en suspensión. La temperatura de la mezcla heterogénea se eleva en la zona de calentamiento y se mantiene en una zona de retención para completar la despolimerización de la mezcla en una solución homogénea que contiene un producto de reacción licuado. La solución homogénea se enfría para solidificar y precipitar un producto de reacción sólido. El producto de reacción sólido se separa del disolvente para ser reciclado. El solvente se recircula para ser reutilizado como constituyente de la mezcla heterogénea.
