Una hoja de acero tratada térmicamente y laminada en frío con una composición compuesta por los siguientes elementos 0.09% = carbono = 0.15%,1.8% = manganeso = 2.5%, 0.2% = silicio = 0.7%, 0.01% = aluminio = 0.1%, 0% = fósforo = 0.09%, 0% = azufre = 0.09%, 0% = nitrógeno = 0.09%, 0% = niobio = 0.1%, 0% = titanio = 0.1%, 0% = cromo = 1%, 0% = molibdeno = 1%, 0% = vanadio = 0.1%, 0% = calcio = 0.005%, 0% = boro = 0.01%, 0% = cerio = 0.1%, 0% = magnesio ? 0.05%, 0% = zirconio ? 0.05%, el resto de la composición está compuesta por hierro e impurezas inevitables causadas por el procesamiento, la microestructura de la hoja de acero comprende en fracción de área, 65 a 85% de martensita templada, 10 0 a 5% de austenita residual y una presencia acumulada de ferrita y bainita de entre 15 y 35%.
