Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a fluidos de transferencia de calor basados en glicol que exhiben inhibición de corrosión y que comprenden más de 5% en peso (en peso total de la composición) de un glicol seleccionado del grupo que consta de monoetilenglicol, monopropilenglicol, 1,3-propanodiol, glicerol o combinaciones de estos; y más de 1% en peso (en peso total de la composición) de un ácido carboxílico orgánico de cadena corta o sal del mismo seleccionado del grupo que consta de ácidos carboxílicos orgánicos de C2 o sales de estos, ácidos carboxílicos orgánicos de C3 o sales de estos y combinaciones de estos; en donde la cantidad combinada del glicol y el ácido carboxílico orgánico de cadena corta o sal de estos es más de 15% en peso (en peso total de la composición). La invención se refiere además a concentrados para la preparación de estos fluidos de transferencia de calor, a métodos para la preparación de estos fluidos de transferencia de calor, y a los métodos y usos que emplean estos fluidos de transferencia de calor.
