Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Un método de control de un cultivo voluntario de hojas anchas, que comprende la aplicación al cultivo voluntario de hojas anchas, un área adyacente al cultivo voluntario de hojas anchas o al suelo o el agua para prevenir la emergencia o el crecimiento del cultivo voluntario de hojas anchas, de una cantidad de eficacia herbicida de un herbicida de la fórmula (1) o sus sales o ésteres, en donde R¹ es halógeno, trifluorometilo, ciano, alquilo C₁₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido o alcoxi C₁₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido; R² es hidrógeno, halógeno, trifluorometilo, ciano, alquilo C₁₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquenilo C₂₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquinilo C₂₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido o alcoxi C₁₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido; R³ es hidrógeno, halógeno, alquilo C₁₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido o alcoxi C₁₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido; R⁴ es halógeno, alquilo C₁₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquenilo C₂₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquinilo C₂₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido o alcoxi C₁₋₄ sustituido o no sustituido; y X es N o CR⁵, en donde R⁵ es hidrógeno o halógeno; y en donde opcionalmente R¹ y R² se combinan para formar -OCH₂O-, -OCHFO- u -OCF₂O-, en donde el cultivo voluntario de hojas anchas está genéticamente modificado. Reivindicación 3: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicación 2, en donde el herbicida tiene una estructura de la fórmula (2) o sus sales o ésteres en donde R¹ es halógeno o metilo; R² es hidrógeno, metilo o metoxi; R³ es hidrógeno, halógeno o metoxi; y R⁵ es hidrógeno o fluoro; en donde opcionalmente R¹ y R² se pueden, combinar para formar -OCH₂O-. Reivindicación 4: El método de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 3, en donde el herbicida está seleccionado del grupo que consiste en la fórmula (3) y la fórmula (4) o sus respectivas sales o ésteres. Reivindicación 9: El método de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 10, en donde el cultivo voluntario de hojas anchas es un cultivo tolerante a glifosato, en donde el cultivo voluntario de hojas anchas contiene un gen AAD-12, en donde el cultivo voluntario de hojas anchas es resistente a ALS, en donde el cultivo voluntario de hojas anchas es resistente a 2,4-D, en donde el cultivo voluntario de hojas anchas es resistente a glufosinato y/o en donde el cultivo voluntario de hojas anchas es resistente al inhibidor de 4-hidroxifenil-piruvato-dioxigenasa (HPPD).
