Abstract
La presente divulgación proporciona secuencias de nucleótidos sintéticos optimizados por codones que codifican la proteína de cristal insecticida de Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) que tiene actividad insecticida contra plagas de insectos. La presente divulgación también se refiere a la expresión de estas secuencias en plantas. La divulgación proporciona además un constructo de ADN, un vector y una célula huésped que comprenden las secuencias de nucleótidos sintéticos optimizados por codones de la invención. También proporciona el uso de secuencias de nucleótidos sintéticos optimizados por codones para la producción de plantas transgénicas resistentes a insectos, plantas transgénicas resistentes a insectos que comprenden dicha secuencia y una composición que comprende Bacillus thuringiensis que comprende la secuencia de nucleótidos sintéticos optimizados por codones de la presente invención.
