Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a anticuerpos que se unen a IgE y a su uso en el tratamiento de enfermedades autoinmunes, particularmente Penfigoide Ampolloso (BP, por sus siglas en inglés) y Urticaria Espontánea Crónica (CSU, por sus siglas en inglés). Los anticuerpos anti-IgE comprenden una variante del dominio Fc que se une al receptor del Fc, FcRn con mayor afinidad en relación con un dominio Fc de tipo silvestre. Los anticuerpos anti-IgE pueden comprender un dominio Fc variante que comprende los aminoácidos Y, T, E, K, F e Y en las posiciones 252, 254, 256, 433, 434 y 436 de UE, respectivamente, en donde el dominio Fc variante se une al FcRn humano con mayor afinidad en relación con un dominio Fc de IgG humana de tipo silvestre.
