Abstract
El invento hace referencia a un método y un aparato para producir, con tratamiento térmico, biocarbón no destinado a producir energía mediante la combustión, como un disipador térmico, empleando un sistema transportador (3) alojado esencialmente en un espacio de proceso de tipo Convertidor de Thompson (2). La materia prima para procesar (x) es transportada al espacio de proceso (2) con el sistema transportador (3), situado en una posición cercana, en dirección longitudinal (s) del espacio de proceso, donde el gas de pirólisis (y), generado desde la materia prima para procesar (x) presente en el aparato transportador (3) como resultado del calor transferido desde el espacio de proceso, es conducido a la cámara de combustión (4) presente en el espacio de proceso para quemar el gas, donde el gas de escape generado (y') se extrae del espacio de proceso mediante un sistema de descarga (5) y el biocarbón no quemado resultante (x') se extrae desde el sistema transportador para un procesamiento adicional. La cantidad de compuestos HAP contenidos en el biocarbón no quemado que se va a producir (x') es reducida/eliminada mediante vapor de agua (z') al suministrar agua (z) al interior del sistema transportador (3); posteriormente, el agua (z) es conducida al interior del sistema transportador (3) desde su extremo de descarga (II) para transportar el flujo de vapor (z') junto con el gas de pirólisis (y) en un contraflujo con respecto a la dirección longitudinal (s) del espacio de proceso hacia el extremo de suministro (I) del sistema transportador.
