Abstract

본 발명은 코크스 오븐의 탄화실에서 석탄 건류시 발생되는 COG를 처리하여 재 활용성을 높인 COG 처리 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 이와 같은 본 발명에 의하면, 탄화실 온도에 따른 성분이나 타르 함유분포 등의 발생특성을 고려하여, 저비용으로 COG 에서부터 고로나 유동로 취입가스로 활용될 수 있는 수소 예컨대, H2/CO-rich 가스 또는, 가열로 등의 연료로 사용될 수 있는 고효율의 메탄 예컨대, CH4-rich 가스의 분리 수집을 가능하게 하면서, 더하여 고온의 COG로부터의 현열 회수를 가능하게 하여, COG의 재활용성을 높이는 것을 가능하게 하는 것이다.
