Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para la soldadura por fusión de una o más láminas de acero (1, 2) hechas de acero endurecido por presión, preferiblemente acero al manganeso-boro, en donde la o al menos una de las láminas de acero tiene un revestimiento metálico (4) que contiene aluminio, y en donde la soldadura por fusión se lleva a cabo mientras se alimenta el material de relleno (11) al baño fundido (9) producido exclusivamente por medio de al menos un rayo láser. Para mejorar la templabilidad de la costura de soldadura (14), independientemente de si las láminas de acero que se van a soldar juntas son láminas de acero del mismo o diferente grado de material y/o láminas de acero de diferentes espesores de lámina, un solo punto focal láser (16) con una distribución de energía diferente se genera en el baño fundido por medio de uno o más elementos ópticos, de modo que el punto focal de láser (16) tenga un área de punto focal de láser más pequeña (16.1) y un área de punto focal de láser más grande (16.2), en donde el área de punto focal de láser más grande irradia un área que es al menos dos veces, preferiblemente al menos tres veces, un área irradiada por el área de punto focal de láser más pequeña, y en donde se introduce una energía láser más alta por unidad de superficie en el área de punto focal de láser más pequeña que en el área de punto focal láser más grande. El método de acuerdo con la invención se caracteriza por una alta productividad y también un consumo de energía comparativamente bajo. Además, el método se puede implementar con relativamente poco esfuerzo en términos de tecnología de planta.
