Abstract

La invención se refiere a una composición grasa y una composición nutricional que comprende tal composición grasa. La composición nutricional es especialmente adecuada para aplicaciones terapéuticas en el tratamiento del malestar intestinal y/o estreñimiento, así como también en aplicaciones no terapéuticas para reducir la formación intestinal de jabones de ácidos grasos y calcio y magnesio. La composición grasa comprende una mezcla de triacilgliceroles (TAG) procedentes de una fuente de grasa de leche bovina y una fuente de lípidos vegetales, estando caracterizada dicha mezcla por: (a) un contenido de grupos butanoato (C4:0) de un 0.5-2.8 % en peso basado en el peso total de grupos acilo de ácidos grasos en TAG; (b) un wLCSFA(sn-1,3) de un 18.0-35.0 % en peso; (c) un mLCFA(sn-1,3) de un 48.0-61.0 % molar; y (d) una relación mLCFA(sn-1,3)/SFA de 0.70-1.25, donde: - LCFA(sn-1,3) son los grupos acilo de ácidos grasos de cadena larga que tienen una longitud de cadena de 12 o más átomos de carbono en la posición sn-1 y sn-3 en TAG; - LCSFA(sn-1,3) son los grupos acilo de ácidos grasos saturados de cadena larga que tienen una longitud de cadena de 12 o más átomos de carbono en la posición sn-1 y sn-3 en TAG; - wLCSFA(sn-1,3) es la cantidad de LCFA(sn-1,3) en % en peso basado en el peso total de grupos acilo de ácidos grasos en TAG; - mLCFA(sn-1,3) es la fracción molar de LCFA(sn-1,3) basada en moles totales de grupos acilo de ácidos grasos en el TAG expresado en % molar; y - SFA es la fracción molar de grupos acilo de ácidos grasos saturados en el TAG expresada en % molar.
