Abstract
En un método para generar varios gases de síntesis por medio de la electrólisis, que comprende alimentar vapor y aire comprimido al cátodo y al ánodo, respectivamente, de la unidad de electrólisis o de la primera de una serie de unidades de electrólisis en la primera de una serie de unidades de electrólisis, las unidades de electrólisis son operadas bajo una presión elevada de gas, y el gas rico en oxígeno que sale del ánodo se expande con posterioridad a aproximadamente la presión ambiental mediante el uso de un expansor de gas.
