Abstract

En un método para generar gas de síntesis de amoníaco mediante la electrólisis, que comprende los pasos de comprimir aire y alimentarlo a un proceso de separación de aire, en el cual el contenido de nitrógeno se concentra mientras que el contenido de oxígeno y CO₂ se diluye, alimentar una mezcla de vapor y el aire comprimido y refinado en la unidad de electrólisis o en la primera de una serie de unidades de electrólisis y pasar la salida de una unidad de electrólisis a la entrada de la siguiente unidad de electrólisis, ya sea junto con aire agregado después cada unidad de electrólisis o agregar únicamente aire después de la última unidad de electrólisis, las unidades de electrólisis se conducen en un modo termoneutral o endotérmico y la parte de nitrógeno del gas de síntesis se proporciona al quemar el hidrógeno producido mediante la electrólisis con vapor por el aire refinado en o entre las unidades de electrólisis.
