Abstract

En el presente documento se proporcionan métodos biocatalíticos para producir compuestos terpénicos aplicando un nuevo tipo de enzima de fosfatasa. El método permite la síntesis completamente bioquímica de compuestos terpénicos, tales como por ejemplo el copalol y labdendiol, y derivados de los mismos, que sirven como compuestos intermedios valiosos para la producción de ingredientes de perfumería, tales como por ejemplo el ambrox. También se proporcionan nuevos procesos de etapas múltiples completamente bioquímicos para la producción de tales compuestos, así como nuevas enzimas de fosfatasa y mutantes y variantes derivadas de los mismos.
