Abstract
La presente descripción se refiere a un proceso para hidrodesulfurar una materia prima de nafta olefínica mientras que se retiene una cantidad sustancial de las olefinas, materia prima la cual tiene un punto de ebullición T95 inferior a 250°C y contiene por lo menos 50 ppmp de azufre enlazado orgánicamente y de 5% a 60% de olefinas, el proceso comprende hidrodesulfurar la materia prima en una etapa de eliminación de azufre en presencia de un gas que comprende hidrógeno y un catalizador de hidrodesulfuración, en condiciones de reacción de hidrodesulfuración que incluyen una temperatura de 200°C a 350°C, una presión de 0.2 MPa (2 barg) o 0.5 MPa (5 barg) a 1 MPa (10 barg), 1.5 MPa (15 barg), 2.5 MPa (25 barg) o 3.5 MPa (35 barg), y una relación de gas con respecto a petróleo crudo de 500 Nm3/m3, 600 Nm3/m3, 700 Nm3/m3, 750 Nm3/m3 o 1100 Nm3/m3 a 1500 Nm3/m3, 2000 Nm3/m3 o 2500 Nm3/m3, para convertir por lo menos 60% del azufre enlazado orgánicamente a sulfuro de hidrógeno y para generar una corriente de producto desulfurado que comprende la relación de gas con respecto a petróleo crudo y la presión se configuran para que la pendiente de selectividad, (% de HDS-% de OSAT)/(% de OSAT*(100-% de HDS)), sea superior a 0.55 o sea superior a 0.7, con el beneficio asociado de que este proceso proporciona una pérdida más baja de octano en todas las rigurosidades arriba de 60% de HDS, en comparación con todos los procesos reportados previamente con una conversión similar de azufre orgánico con una relación más baja de gas con respecto a petróleo crudo, según lo medido por la pendiente de selectividad.
