Abstract
Un procedimiento para la producción de un artículo cerámico, comprendiendo el procedimiento las etapas de: (a) preparar una mezcla en forma de partículas; (b) poner en contacto la mezcla en forma de partículas con agua para formar una mezcla humidificada; (c) prensar la mezcla humidificada para formar un artículo verde; (d) opcionalmente, someter el artículo verde a una etapa inicial de secado; (e) opcionalmente, vitrificar el artículo verde para formar un artículo verde vitrificado; (f) someter el artículo verde a una etapa de tratamiento térmico en un horno para formar un artículo fundido caliente; y (g) enfriar el artículo fundido caliente para formar un artículo cerámico vitrificado, en el que la mezcla en forma de partículas comprende de un 30 % en peso a un 80 % en peso de material reciclado de silicato de aluminio, en el que la mezcla en forma partículas tiene una distribución de tamaño de forma que: (i) el tamaño de partícula d50 es de 10 µm a 30 µm; (ii) el tamaño de partícula d70 es menor que 40 µm; y (iii) el tamaño de partícula d98 es menor que 60 µm, en el que las etapas (c) y (f), y opcionalmente las etapas (d) y (e) son etapas de procedimiento continuo.
