Abstract

La presente invención proporciona un horno de fundición capaz de suprimir la oxidación de materiales fundidos, y mejorar la calidad de los materiales fundidos; como se muestra en la figura 3, un horno de fundición 1 incluye una porción de fundición 2, para el que se suministra material metálico; un quemador 4 para fundir el material metálico en la porción de fundición en un material fundido; una porción calentadora 5 que recibe el material fundido desde la porción de fundición 2 para elevar la temperatura del material fundido; una porción reguladora de temperatura 6 que recibe el material fundido desde la porción calentadora 5 y almacena el material fundido; un separador 7 que separa la porción calentadora 5 y la porción reguladora de temperatura 6, en donde la porción inferior 70 del separador 7 es inmersa en el material fundido para formar, por debajo del separador 7, una entrada 71 que permite introducir el material fundido desde la porción calentadora 5 hacia la porción reguladora de temperatura 6; un calentador por inmersión 10 en donde al menos parte del calentador por inmersión 10 es inmerso en el material fundido en la porción reguladora de temperatura 6 para así calentar el material fundido; y una trayectoria de introducción de gas 72 que es formada en el separador 7, y que introduce gas de combustión desde el calentador 4 hacia un espacio por arriba del material fundido en la porción reguladora de temperatura 6; en donde el quemador 4 es controlado para que el gas de combustión tenga una concentración de oxígeno de 5% o menos.
