Abstract
Un rotor de bomba centrífuga incluye una carcasa frontal, una carcasa posterior, y una pluralidad de álabes de bombeo entre las mismas, y cada álabe de bombeo tiene un borde delantero en la zona de la entrada del rotor y un borde de salida, la carcasa frontal posee una cara interna curva en la zona de la entrada del rotor, la cara interna curva tiene un radio de curvatura (Rs) que oscila entre 0.05 y 0.16 del diámetro externo del rotor (D2).
