Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición para conferir, mejorar o impartir una nota de vainilla que comprende 2-hidroxi-4-metoxibenzaldehído y un compuesto impartido con vainillina seleccionado del grupo del 3-etoxi- 4-hidroxibenzaldehído o el 4-hidroxi-3-metoxibenzaldehído y un producto para el consumidor perfumado o saborizado que comprende la composición de la invención. Además, la presente invención se refiere a un extracto que comprende al menos 10% de 2-hidroxi-4-metoxibenzaldehído y a un método para mejorar, potenciar o modificar el perfil de sabor a vainilla de una composición usando el extracto.
