Abstract
La invención se relaciona con un aplicador (por ejemplo, una cabeza de impresión) para aplicar un agente de recubrimiento (por ejemplo, una pintura) a un componente (por ejemplo, un componente de la carrocería de un vehículo de motor), que tiene una cámara de la boquilla (15) con una pluralidad de boquillas (2-5) para distribuir el agente de recubrimiento en la forma de chorros o gotas continuos, el agente de recubrimiento fluye durante la operación a través de la cámara de la boquilla (15) a las boquillas (2-5), de manera que la cámara de la boquilla (15) se llena con el agente de recubrimiento durante la operación. Además, el aplicador de acuerdo con la invención tiene un elemento de sellado (14) que separa de manera fluida la cámara del accionador (16) de la cámara de la boquilla (15), con el fin de evitar la contaminación de la cámara del accionador (16) con el agente de recubrimiento en la cámara de la boquilla (15). La invención proporciona que el elemento de sellado (14) se diseñe de manera que las agujas de la válvula individual (6-9) puedan desplazarse de manera independiente unas de otras, sin un desplazamiento de una de las agujas de la válvula (6-9) que afecte la abertura y cierre de las boquillas (2-5) en la aguja de la válvula (6-9) adyacente.
