Abstract

Se divulga un dispositivo de recolección de fluido biológico que incluye una carcasa y un cartucho, que se recibe de manera extraíble dentro de una porción de la carcasa. El dispositivo de recolección de fluido biológico de la presente divulgación permite la recolección de sangre capilar desde una lanceta para dedo y proporciona un sistema cerrado que reduce la exposición de una muestra de sangre. En una realización, un cartucho de la presente divulgación también proporciona una mezcla rápida de una muestra de sangre con un estabilizador de muestras. En otra realización, un cartucho de la presente divulgación proporciona la separación automática de plasma de la muestra de sangre. De manera ventajosa, una vez que se llena el cartucho con una muestra y se retira el mismo de la carcasa, el cartucho puede usarse para diversos propósitos importantes.
