Abstract
Se presenta un separador de hidrociclón (1) y un sistema que comprende una pluralidad de dichos separadores de hidrociclón (1); el separador de hidrociclón comprende una parte de la cabeza (2) que tiene un conducto de entrada (3) y un tubo de descarga de flujo de rebose (4) dispuesto en la parte de la cabeza (2); el separador de hidrociclón (1) tiene además un orificio de descarga del ápice (8) y una parte de separación cónica (5) dispuesta entre la parte de la cabeza y el orificio de descarga del ápice; la parte de separación cónica se reduce distalmente desde la parte de la cabeza; además, la parte de la cabeza comprende además un orificio de vaciado en la parte de la cabeza separado del tubo de descarga de flujo de rebose; aquí, se presenta un separador de hidrociclón capaz de lograr una mejor eficiencia operativa con menor riesgo de fracción de gruesos que están mal ubicados y quedan en la parte de la cabeza; lo anterior reduce efectivamente las necesidades de mantenimiento y prolonga la vida útil del hidrociclón.
