Abstract

Se provee un aparato de separación multifase que moldea el flujo en una línea de moldeo de flujo preferentemente formada para tener una pluralidad de vueltas, en consecuencia con un diámetro decreciente. Moldear el flujo de doble fase permite a la fuerza centrífuga enviar el líquido más pesado y más denso a la pared exterior de la línea de moldeo de flujo, y le da al mechero menor vapor denso o gas, para ocupar la pared interna de la línea de moldeo de flujo. Con el gas posicionado en la pared interna de la línea de moldeo de flujo, un puerto de salida en la pared interna le permitirá a la mayoría de (o a todo) el gas, junto con una baja cantidad de liquido, ser enviado a un separador convencional. Un alto índice de vapor/líquido a una tasa mucho más baja que la tasa de flujo total dentro de la línea de moldeo de flujo se envía al separador convencional. Esto permite la separación eficiente del vapor del líquido con el uso de un separador convencional más pequeño. El líquido remanente es posteriormente introducido en un separador de fase ajustable, para separar diferentes componentes líquidos entre ellos.
