Abstract

Un ensamble de embrague magnético comprende unidades de bobina circunferencialmente espaciadas, un rotor y una unidad de control eléctrico para suministrar de manera controlable corriente energizante para inducir campos electromagnéticos en cada unidad de bobina, para iniciar la rotación del rotor. El rotor comprende un anillo de accionamiento que puede recibirse en el interior de las unidades de bobina, un anillo accionado concéntrico al anillo de accionamiento y conectable con una carga mecánica, pares de imanes permanentes que consisten en un imán de anillo de accionamiento y un imán de anillo accionado que se acopla magnéticamente al imán de anillo de accionamiento, e imanes desplazados circunferencialmente espaciados proporcionados con el anillo accionado cuya dirección de magnetización se desplaza angularmente a la dirección de magnetización de un imán de anillo accionado adyacente. Las líneas curvas de campo magnético de cada imán desplazado se superponen con las líneas de campo magnético de un imán de anillo accionado adyacente que se curvan en una dirección diferente para suprimir la generación de una fuerza electromotriz posterior parásita.
