Abstract
Un proceso para producir un material compuesto, comprendiendo dicho proceso los siguientes pasos de a) proporcionar un polímero, b) proporcionar fibras naturales, c) preparar un material compuesto a partir de dichas fibras y dicho polímero termoplástico, estando dicho proceso caracterizado por que el polímero es un poliéster termoplástico que comprende al menos una unidad de 1,4: 3,6-dianhidrohexitol (A), al menos una unidad de diol alicíclico (B) distinta de las unidades de 1,4: 3,6-dianhidrohexitol (A), al menos una unidad de ácido tereftálico (C), donde la relación (A)/[(A)+(B)] es al menos 0.05 y como máximo 0.75, no conteniendo dicho poliéster ninguna unidad de diol acíclico alifático o comprendiendo una cantidad molar de unidades de diol acíclico alifático, con respecto a todas las unidades monoméricas del poliéster, de menos de un 5%, y cuya viscosidad reducida en solución (25°C; fenol (50%m): orto-diclorobenceno (50%m); 5 g/l de poliéster) es mayor de 50 ml/g.
