Abstract
Se describe un método para monitorear una fluorescencia variable con el tiempo emitida de un agente fluorescente dentro de un medio de reflexión difusa con propiedades ópticas que varían con el tiempo, que incluye proveer al menos dos mediciones obtenidas de un paciente antes y después de la administración del agente fluorescente que incluye una señal Flrmeas detecta adyacente a un medio por un detector de luz filtrada durante la iluminación del medio por la luz de longitud de onda excitatoria, y al menos una señal DR seleccionada de : una señal DRexmeas DRem, y DRem, filtrada. El método además incluye identificar una porción post-equilibrio del conjunto de datos de la medición y transformar cada señal Flrmeas dentro de la porción de post-equilibrio del conjunto de datos de la medición para una IFagente que representa una intensidad de fluorescencia detectada emitida solamente por el agente fluorescente desde el interior del medio. El método descrito incluye la eliminación de los efectos de la pérdida de luz al nivel de excitación y la eliminación de los efectos de autofluorescencia de la señal Flrmeas.
