Abstract
Un método y un aparato para clasificación mecánica de mosquitos por sexo mediante la extracción de una clase de mosquitos de mosquitos sin clasificar comprende obtener mosquitos sin clasificar, obtener imágenes de mosquitos individuales en una fase estacionaria, clasificar electrónicamente los individuos de las imágenes en mosquitos macho y/o mosquitos hembra, y posiblemente también en objetos no clasificados; obtener coordenadas de individuos de al menos una de las clasificaciones de mosquitos macho y mosquitos hembra, y usar un brazo robótico para llegar a un individuo identificado por las coordenadas obtenidas para almacenar o eliminar a los individuos, de este modo proporcionar mosquitos clasificados por sexo.
