Abstract
Se pretende proporcionar un método de producción de ácido acético capaz de separar y eliminar de manera industrial y ventajosa un subproducto de acetaldehído en el paso de separación de la separación de una corriente de procedimiento en fases acuosa y orgánica; en la presente invención, el paso de separación satisface, por ejemplo, las siguientes condiciones (vi) a (viii), y al menos una porción de la fase acuosa se trata en el paso de separación y eliminación de acetaldehído; (vi) las concentraciones de acetaldehído en la fase acuosa y/u orgánica no son más del 28.1% en masa y no más del 24.8% en masa, respectivamente; (vii) una temperatura de separación no superior a 70°C; y (viii) las concentraciones de acetato de metilo en las fases acuosa y/u orgánica no son mayores del 12.0% en masa y no mayores del 47.6% en masa, respectivamente, y/o la suma de las concentraciones de acetato de metilo en las fases acuosa y orgánica no es mayor del 59.6% en masa.
