Abstract

Un método para operar una unidad de filtración que comprende un recipiente de filtración, que contiene al menos un elemento de filtración sin salida, el o cada elemento de filtración que comprende microfiltración de fibra hueca o membranas de ultrafiltración en las que, durante la filtración, se alimenta agua que contiene material particulado suspendido simultáneamente al interior de las fibras huecas a través de sus dos extremos y el filtrado se elimina del exterior de las fibras huecas a través de una salida de los elementos de filtración; y durante el retrolavado, el agua se alimenta al exterior de las fibras huecas a través de la salida de los elementos de filtración; y, en un primer ciclo de retrolavado, el agua que contiene material particulado arrastrado se descarga desde el interior de las fibras huecas desde un extremo del mismo; y, en un segundo ciclo de retrolavado, el agua que contiene material particulado arrastrado se descarga desde el interior de las fibras huecas desde el otro extremo de la misma; y en el que el primer y segundo ciclo de retrolavado, se puede realizar en cualquier orden.
