Abstract
Un método de operación de una unidad de filtración que comprende un recipiente de filtración con al menos un elemento de filtración de extremo muerto, donde cada elemento de filtración comprende una pluralidad de membranas de microfiltración o de ultrafiltración de fibras huecas, en donde: durante la filtración, el agua de suministro que contiene el material particulado en suspensión se suministra simultáneamente al interior de las fibras huecas a través de ambos extremos de las mismas y el filtrado se retira del exterior de las fibras huecas a través de una salida del elemento o elementos de filtración, y durante el retrolavado, el agua de retrolavado se suministra al exterior de las fibras huecas a través de la salida del elemento o elementos de filtración y, en un primer ciclo de retrolavado, el agua de retrolavado que contiene el material particulado incorporado se descarga desde el interior de las fibras huecas desde un extremo de las mismas y en un segundo ciclo de retrolavado, el agua de retrolavado que contiene el material particulado incorporado se descarga desde el interior de las fibras huecas desde el otro extremo de las mismas y en donde los primero y segundo ciclos de retrolavado se pueden realizar en cualquier orden.
